Established in 1993, the NPA has grown rapidly from a small network of filmmakers into a renowned and respected charitable organisation. It supports, encourages and enables new filmmakers, providing the industry with some of its brightest new talent. Recent acclaimed work by NPA members includes the feature films: Hilary and Jackie, Event Horizon, Waking Ned, Welcome to Sarajevo, Pandaemonium, Potter series, Love Actually, Rabbit Proof Fence, Lord of the Rings trilogy, 24 Hour Party People, Elizabeth, Ladies in Lavender, 28 Day Later, The Borrowers, Girl with a Pearl Earring, Johnny English.

Members' work also includes award winning short films Billy's Day Out, The Little Terrorist, and London Voodoo. As well as documentary, animation, promos and television series.
